Dogs new Christmas coat

Got my boy a super hi tech coat, secondhand on eBay! It’s a Hurtta Extreme Warmer, and it easily beats out his old Pets at Home rain sheet for being fancy. We affectionately call it his spacesuit, and he does look a bit ridiculous covered brow to hocks in foil-insulated coat, but it keeps him wonderfully toasty warm.

I decided at 14 my old lady should wear a coat outside when it was wet or cold.
luckily I didn’t buy one but we have a few floating round.
As soon as I put it on she collapsed to the floor and lay there terrified!
She too obviously prefers au natural! Have tried since, not as dramatic but refuses to move.
Also tried, simply to see the reaction one on OH “proper farm gundog lab, who never cuddles his mummy all night because he’s hard as nails” (??) he actually kind of bronced like a horse! So bizarre

My young terrier gets terrible zoomies when I have put his pjs on (equafleece no straps job). As a ginger, he looks very smart in dark mulberry pyjamas and I like to think he is pleased to have them on as our utility room is sooo cold!! My old hound only tolerated equafleece coats - anything else she would panic then rip to shreds the dear thing. No idea why equafleece were acceptable to her except perhaps they don't rustle and are actually very warm and with no straps to worry about.

My dog also hates coats, but loved her equafleece and now her Stix coat. Both are a fleecy fabric and very soft and unrestrictive so I wonder if that’s why.

I prefer the Stix coat as it has a zipper so I don’t need to put it on over her head!
