What do you think?

I have to admit, i really do think this is true!

***** week at work combined with the usual January mood ... i walk in from work with a face like a slapped ar$e in need of a large glass of vino and a cheer up and there he is! Cuddly as ever and won't leave my side. Now he's playing daft beggers i.e. 'speaking' and pouncing and generally making me laugh!

He's always a happy chappy but only plays silly beggers if you wind him up a bit first!

I'm sure he knew i needed a good giggle and he has done the trick! :D:D:D

Pointless post but ... hey it's Friday!!! ;):D:D:D

I've been suffering from Swine Flu the past week, really really suffering. I couldn't stand up, couldn't sleep, sweating/shivering and everytime I struggled up to go to the loo I was heaving from being so dizzy. Otto has refused to leave my side, literally had to be dragged outside by OH, he dashed downstairs to eat and then back up to be with me. :D
The first day I came downstairs, he went loony, kept fetching me things :D He went to hurdle the sofa, realised he was likely to land on me and turned mid-air to avoid it! :D

He has certainly kept me from losing my mind! Anymore than I already had to own such a creature anyway :D :D

They are surprisingly good nurses, these spangles:D

Hope you feel a bit better now! Sounds horrible:(

Loads better! I never get ill and I'm not one to lay about feeling sorry for myself with a cold, so to have a week of having no choice but to stay in bed has been horrid! I had to miss a days beating :(
I'm still a bit weak and feeble now, and I fear my appetite may never come back :( On the plus side, my stomach has never been so flat, nor my jeans so loose :D

For sure, my lot are generally a bunch of annoying plebs and very stuck to routine, however if there's a good reason routine must change (ie, I'm very poorly, or very stressed and need to get something done thus delaying walk/food etc.) they never grumble and if I'm poorly they never leave my side. Ellie is usually the one to come and try cheer me up if I'm feeling down and/or angry/upset... Poor Els, like some kind of doggy sacrifice the others offer her up first while they gingerly peer round a corner to await the reaction! I can just imagine the convo they have in the next room 'who's going to check if she needs a hug?' 'You go Ellie, she won't shout at you, your best at checking' 'just run back in here if she looks cross' 'I don't think this time it was something we did...go on it will be fine' *all push Ellie through the doorway!* :p I have an overactive imagination! Lol!

Definately!!!
My goldie Ronnie is amazing. I have been I'll since I was 14 with M.E and now Crohns disease and he is like a little guardian angel :D

I used to fall over a lot and I was home alone but because I was so week struggled to get back up. Without being taught or prompted nudged me till I managed to get onto all fours then slid his body underneath my tummy then pushed up to lift me and then slowly walked until I could lift myself up. Still brings a tear to my eye thinking about it. He's incredible :). He also used to watch me while I slept with his head on the sofa which was a bit weird :D I think he was checking I was breathing!!! :D

On another note I think they 'see' stuff to! Mac used to sit and stare at the wall when we first moved in here. Was very creepy :D

That sounds very nasty K. Yay for Spangle health care :D :D :D

A bit different,Shirley Bassett knows when I think about getting the keys to the gun cupboard and dives under the couch[whipshy/gunshy],Minnie used to do the same,no need to say anything, the others couldn't care less.
