Dogs who think they are humans

My OH's family dog thought he was one of the lads, he recognised the words 'bookies' 'shop' and 'pup' and used to get really upset when they all went to the bar on Saturday nights without him....he often made his way down there and sat outside, looking through the window!

Salsa sits in front of the telly and watches it all day, she also sits like a human on her bum with her back legs out in front and her front legs inbetween lol

she will also sit like this on a seat when we take her to the pub with us, got a cracking picture of her sitting at the table in the pub with a pint of water and a straw hanging out her mouth, will put it up tonight when i get home

oh and if shes driving us crazy in the house we will just put on dog whisperer as she will automatically stop what shes doing, sit down and watch the whole episode lol

Louis likes to think he's a human.

Look what I found the other day, when I came in our bedroom to go to sleep!

yup - mine will sit up on chairs to try to join in conversations. If Blaze wants attention he sits on my lap and gives me a staffie cuddle - complete with paws on either side of my neck! neither of mine ever take the back seat either when people come round!

I know, if looks could kill I'd have been dead a long time ago! He's really funny, he does the same stare if you laugh at him and then walks off and sulks. He could sulk for Britain.

Thankfully he does move when I get into bed, although sometimes he needs to be elbowed !

As soon as Misty hears the music for this program she's there! There's also the video which is of Golden Retriever puppies playing on sunbed loungers to the song "Wipe Out" - again as soon as she hears the music she runs to the computer and if its off, she finds my laptop!

Misty's favourite show!

LOL - pics are great. I saw the heading and just had to post a reply.

Every morning I get breakfast stuff ready on table whilst OH is seeing to horses water or garden etc. I got side tracked and when I entered the room found my mini JRT sitting on my chair facing my bowl as if to say - 'hurry up and serve me mum!'

He also likes to sleep under the covers - he will move when I go to bed but often creeps back in when I am asleep.

Matty would never get in the back of my car with the other 2. She always jumped over and sat on the back seat like a person. You could have fastened a seat belt on her no problem!! Also you rarely found her asleep on the floor, she was always on a settee or chair.

AGAGE those pictures are priceless. Just be thankful neither of them had a cigarette going!!
