divvy question here - I'm just having to have a quick revision of the "Correct BHS methods" and can't remember what is BHS and what isn't....

so, you're lunging your horse, you've brought it to a halt (it's stayed out on the track in a very BHS fashion..) and your walking towards it slowly and calmly, up to the shoulder telling him what a good boy he is, and now you have complete control of the horse. However, you realise that you've messed up your lunge-line and it's now in a tangled mess in your hands.

Do you:

A: hold the line firmly near the the catch so you can restrain the horse if necessary, gently throw the rest of line out on the floor away from the horse and slightly to the side of you and start collecting it back up to make it nice and smooth again

B:try and straighten it all out without letting any of the line touch the floor at all by passing it from one hand to the other, whilst holding the horse,

C: don't worry about it and straighten it out when you next start the horse off again...

D: [Fill in own method here]

thanks in advance for answering such a numpty question...

Angua2 - yeah so was I - it just doesn't feel so "bhs" and was having massive doubts about it!

Brighthair - i'd also probably do the same...

A is the safest way.
