Doh!!!

My horse and I just had a lovely long hack out on our own (the first long one of the summer) Bravely passing a crane, several buses, masses of people in their gardens making strange gardeny noises, a range of friendly livestock, 3 cyclists, motorbikes, postmen, speeding vans with surfboards atop, a van trailering a load of kayaks, shrieking children, 3 pubs with boards outside - all without batting an eyelid, I was very chuffed with my once-nappy horse. When we returned I gave him a big rub and a treat and put him out in his field.

I drove home in my car very happily, so proud was I of my brave boy, but suddenly I noticed a digger by the side of the road, it's arm raised up. 'Look past it, relax, he won't spook,' I thought.... DOH!!!!!!

I need a lie down!!!!!

You are not alone, I have also been known to put my hand up at passing cars ' to thank them for passing considerately' when I'm driving my own car!

once i'm in the horsey mode i seem to stay in it for a while! the family find it quite amusing though

lol I drive down roads looking at bright colored signs/rubbish ect. Thinking to myself ohh that one could be tricky. No where near where i ride.

Have you tried to do shoulder-in with your car around a roundabout yet?

Don't worry - I've done the same!

I suppose if you're worried about how your car will react in future, you could turn it round and reverse past the scary thing....

Love it! But sadly I do similar things, driving down my road every evening, and only the evenings for some strange reason, I find myself attempting jump position for the speed bumps!!! Not easy, but always do it and I have no idea why!
