Where he's standing at stud, any info about temperament, progeny, etc? A link would be great (am googling him myself at the mo)
I'm asking for someone else, BTW.
Thanks

ETS: I've found a site, but if anyone would like to explain what a Radiological score is, or ISO or BSO, would be VERY grateful

Here is the link that you may already have.

http://www.frenchstallions.org/french_stallion_detail.php?stallion=2007001

The semen is already at Twemlows. You'll already know that he was a team World Champion in 2002 with the French team, which included Dollar de la Pierre and Diamant de Semilly.

Radiological score is to do with his xrays, these are sent to the University of Caen for analysis and a score is given. To get 5*, as with Dollar, you have to be 99%-100% perfect, and they are picky.

ISO = a competition horse’s own individual rating in sport.
The horse's highest ISO is reported; the date after the ISO score is the year the horse's highest ISO score was earned. The average stallion has an ISO of 100; hence Apache D'Adriers' ISO of 181 (1999) means that in 1999 he was 81% better in sport than the average Selle Français showjumping horse.

BSO = predicted genetic value taking into account sire's own performance and the performance of his progeny in sport.
The BSO is always reported with a coefficient of determination that ranges between zero and 1; the closest the coefficient of determination is to 1 the more reliable the BSO is and the more confidence you can have in its predictive value. Only 2% of stallions have a BSO of 20 or more. The coefficient is expressed thus (0.90) after the BSO score.

Dollar de Mûrier has two stallion sons who appear in the top 20 jumping horses in the World during 2007. He's line bred Ibrahim and is a product of two of show jumping's most important motherlines.

That's very useful, thank you very much

(And yes, that's the site I found

)
I don't suppose you know where/how I might go about finding some of his youngstock for sale? Not for me, I hasten to add, but someone I know is travelling to Europe and is specifically looking for something by Dollar Du Mûrier.
Thanks again
