I started using Domosedan for clipping as the horse is ticklish. Has anyone experienced diminished effect after a few uses and excessive sweating. It’s not working for this horse anymore. Any suggestions?

I haven't experienced a diminished effect (although I was trying to wean mine off of needing sedation, so tried to use a little as possible). Sweating, I have seen though (and weeing as they come out of it).

I try to clip in a quiet area and keep the horse as quiet as possible for about an hour before so it has time to work.

It's one of the two chemicals in the vets Iv sedation - so you'd expect the side effects to be similar.
I've only used annually for teeth - did that for years without issue, but that's maybe not the same as every 6-8 weeks to clip.
