Doncaster - who was it who

asked for support of a planning application.

Whoever it was - congratulations - as I signed up and gave my full details the council has been writing to me and I am happy to hear that permission has been granted.

(I think it was for a riding school to have change of use on some fields so they could hold shows etc - but I could be wrong, it was quite a while ago.)

I think it was at Tickhill near Doncaster. Think the land was used/owned by Maltby RC though.

I tell you what though. I signed the petition and did a little essay on why they should allow it and what a good amenity it would be for the neighbourhood. Ever since they have been sending me letters explaining where they are in the process - now I would have been happy to get emails - but letter cost money - more money. Doncaster council is obviously too rich.

Wasn't it Doncaster Council who's newly elected mayor cut his own salary in half and got rid of most the councillors? Saving money on expenses, office space etc will allow them to spend money on their 'customers' - council tax payers!! Agree however, that an email is cheaper and just as effective.

Their user name is BBoo - checked through my sent posted items. Also got my letter this morning - its about the third I've had since I registered my support - thought it was another bill!!
