Some of you may have been following the perils of my livery yard dilemma! Well I went back to the new yard and liked it even more, so Springy will be moving at the end of the month. I am just going to have to be skint until I can blag a payrise, but I think it will be worth it. They seem to care so much about the horses in their care (they will even put sun cream on Springy's pink nose!)
Went to tell current yard owner but she was on the phone, told her husband (he looked at me like I was talking Japanese!), so have said will talk it over with her tomorrow.

Excited about the new yard

just hoping that madam settles ok! Thanks for all your advice, I feel I am doing the right thing.

Hello you
grin.gif

Much nicer place, I even told them about Springy's bad behaviour and they were unfazed. He is an ex-national hunt jockey and they bring on ex racers so really experienced.

Hopefully I will finally make some friends

How is the gorgeous orange one?

There is no way you will make friends

- you are after all a muggle!

I guess you could bribe them with trips in that sexy car you have!

I am glad you decided to move at least you will be able to enjoy your pony. Good luck with the move and fill me in

Your'll be amazed at how much better you will feel when you are not worried about her all the time - plus you will no doubt meet some lovely new people and wonder how you stuck the other yard for so long

Good luck!

You will make friends - your lovely - the other lot were obviously odd! very strange group of people - that bbq thing was just plain bizzare/rude etc!

The georgous orange one has decided that he is no longer a TB but a WB - he's gone all dressage chunky like when we first moved to Mymms - he looks nothing like the weasle that moved a year ago - very funny! He's doing OK. Still stiff but will loosen. We've been doing the odd bit of jumping on sundays - he's turned into a complete hooligan and just drags me into the nearest jump now which is nothing like the worried SJ he was. We're not going above 2'9 and he's really loving it. Stanley came and helped me jump last sunday and was amazed - she thinks I should measure him as he is just such a different stamp of a horse now and actually has some presence in the school now and is sooo much more consistent!

I'm just a bit sad that I'll go off to Korea for 9 weeks, come back and have to re-start all over again. Stan has said that she'll come a ride him - but with work, Thor and a job she wont manage to do as much as he could do with. I just dont really trust him (without me there) with anyone else as he is still just as unpredictable as ever! Hopefully Mandy will long-rein him twice a week too which should help!

Good luck with the move - you should come over and visit - if you need any help/more hands etc let us know

x

Ah I will have to come and see him, I miss being harrassed and vomited on

Glad he is looking so good, you need to let me see some piccies. Get the wonderful mr Matt to take some jumping ones too.

We should be ok with the move as it is only over the road, my company party is also that weekend so may be a bit bleary-eyed!
