Anyone has any idea's for how to make me and Darcy the pinkest horse/ rider combination going for as little cost?

I'm entering the Ride for Life in June. So far my idea's are :

Bandages/ boots.
Pink bridle/ martingale set (Reflective.)
Spraying part of him pink in the ribbon shape.
Pink numnah
Pink jods/ t-shirt / hat band .

What are your suggestions?

Tie pink ribbons in his mane & tail and you can have a matching pink ribbon in yours

This is a bit random but you could try and get hold of one of those cheesy pink bopper head bands people where at boy band concerts etc (know the ones? they wobble as you walk and either flash or have pom poms on the end- see here - http://cgi.ebay.com.my/PINK-FLUFFY-HEADB...emZ130260918255 ) and find a way of attaching them to the poll bit of Darcys bridle. Goodness why you'd want but it would look jazzy

as darcy is grey spray him pink all over, would certainly be a show stopper, maybe you could do it with pink food colouring from a fine spray bottle. And i think you should go for the tutu aswell, and dont forget the pics

I had a tech teacher a few years ago who had horses and he dyed one of them pink, it would definatly be a show stopper

The boppers i mean, but they'd have to be attached to my hat because Darcy would run with his tail between his legs before i even got them near him

I felt so demoralised at christmas, the only thing i could get on him a little 'out there' was a tiny strip of foil cord haha. The tinsel was going to eat him

*ahem* Well, you can get cheap fur fabric and cover your browband, noseband and girth. Ribbons, of course are a must; Plait mane and tail and add. You can get stable bandages for around a tenner on ebay (cheaper than boots, although those are quite cheap at the mo on ebay... not that I've been looking or anything...

) likewise cheap pink numnah, breeches, hat cover... Not sure I'd spray anything directly onto neddy without checking veeeeeeeeeery carefully what was in the can; I think the propellant can be a bit nasty. How about pink food dye?

Me and my friend are dressing as pink fairys , we have pink tutu's, pink fairys wings hat covers, chaps etc.. Were also looking at turning my black and white Pink and black and are covering my friends grey in pink hearts and stars lol

I also have a pink fleece leopard spot cooler (spots are purple) that you may borrow if you want - neices definately have a pink hat cover....let me check what else when I get home....

Haha thanks SU but heading up to Claires (probably cheap) in the week for the fairy wings etc so i'll grab some hair extensions for Darcy then

What about the pink hair extensions that you can clip in. You could put some in his mane and tail? I think you can get them in Claire's accessories and places like that.
