Ponies DONT stay where you put them! Little 3yo Welsh B decided he didnt like his paddock which he shares with a fellow little pony and decided overnight to JUMP over the wire (electric on top) fence into the big field with the 2 big bullies! So I went out yesterday morning to find 3 (rather than 2) horses looking at me from the big field!! He's managed to skin bits of a hind leg and has snapped the top line of wire

WHY OH WHY do youngsters get themselves in so much trouble?!

Ouch! Naughty boy. I have looked out of my bedroom window before to see our 3 Shetlands charging round the garden having escaped from their field! Great fun trying to catch them all again, the grass in the garden is just too tasty

Oh yes, my landlady hates my horses for exactly that reason! About two weeks after we moved in, the youngster stuck her back legs through the fence and cut them quite badly, and next door's mare and foal ended up in my field! I couldn't catch them to put them back either

Then a few months later, my horse turned up in the mare and foal's field - I still haven't decided whether she rolled under the fence or jumped it! Fat horse + tendon injury + jumping do NOT mix!!
They just seem to know what is bad for them, and go for it to spite us!
