...the end of the season?!

I've just got one day left, though the hunt have next tuesday and the following saturday left to go, I won't be there as I'm working tuesday and then off to record a CD with my Silver Band on the 28th.

OH is taking my horse on 28th - and I'm so jealous.

looking forward to next season already!!

I do had my last meet alst saturday and i miss it already

We had our last meet yesterday. I was out on the Tues as my last day. I am half relieved and half sad as being a hunt groom I won't miss the early starts endless bathing and plaiting etc. but will miss the hunting.
Only 21 weeks until we start again though!

Though you & P were with us on our hounds last day out for the season.

Even more sad it was the last time hounds will leave their kennels for hunting.

bet bog tank is enjoying the rest in the sunshine though!

donkey threw himself into a barbwire fence today in protest at standing still... no major damage just a couple of scratches that bled profusely for a minute or two.

so that's me finished for the summer as of today - OH is taking donkey to the last meet next weekend.

So sad & bored! Though the young horses at the stud are actally curing my bordem & the young pups back in kennels!

Yes Bog Tabk is thankfull at not having to carry me all day long! He says he can do it with out me all on his own!! LOL!

Hope R scrathes are OK? Barlambs I forgot that stuff it been mental at work. Will do them Monday txt me!!

I'm glad its over, but then i'm a hunters groom and it'll be nice to have a break from patching up,washing off and cleaning mud encrusted tack!

We finished 2 weeks ago have been having withdrawal symptons ever since!!!
All ready for summercompetitions tho and then hunting season will be back around before we know it!

my last meet finished very badly after my best friend ended up in hospital in a coma and it was the last chance i had to hunt my pony as he is now for sale owell he gave me a good seasons hunting !!!
