My lot tend to get up when they see me coming, but every nown and again they stay down and I do give them some fuss.

I don't seem to have a lying down photo of my mare as she's super quick to get up and come over.

Faracat - your horses are stunning! My old pony was like that, couldn't get near him as he'd be straight up if he saw you. Only got one far off pic of him down in 2 years.

Alittlebitofmagic - it's a 50:50 mix of shavings and chopped rape straw. Only just added the straw a few days ago as my shavings seemed to be going nowhere and I'm amazed by it, it's lovely! Kenny loves it too (now he's stopped eating it )

I don't have a pic of the event but this little palomino mini tried to sit on my lap twice whilst I was sitting on the floor, or more than on occassion! I think she thinks she's a dog!

I was sat crossed legged on the grass and she stepped her leg inside mine and went to lay down!

I quite often find my girl flat out in the field in the summer but not usually in the stable. The only time I've been able to sit with her laid in her stable is when she was ill.
This is her a few years ago when I woke her up to bring in for the dentist coming in my lunch hour

Like yours mine quite likes cuddles when she's sleeping. I love it when she neighs in her sleep as well, so cute!

It is great. My boy is always asleep, and a few times I've had cuddles. One time he led with his head on my lap flat out, wish I'd had someone to take a photo.

Lol you can have her when my daughter out grows her. She is only rising two, welsh A. She sleeps like that all the time, I can creep up on her and stand there for five minutes while she snores, dreams and twitches but as soon as she realises you are there she jumps up lol
