I just made one for Ned, despite the fact he doesn't actually go in a stable.
Trying out my painting skills! It still needs some touching up, but over-all I'm pretty happy :D

Have you got one for your horse? Do you have pics?

They are gorgeous! Love the gold studwork in Ned's name too.

'My' horses aren't really mine, but when I purchase one of my very own, I will be going all out on things like name plaques and matchy headcollars & leadreins :D

I've got my plans for mine.. It's going to be a tad different than yours though as I'm planning on making it from horseshoes! Cutting and welding them together into the letter shapes :D my OH made one for me ages ago of my name and he's going to help me make one for my boy.

Was actually thinking to post pics on here when it's done to get everyone's opinions on them as we were thinking we could make them to order if people were interested :)

Ahh I see! Mr Merlin is my favourite ponio - hence the namesake! Glad to hear your steeds are spoilt, despite the non-ownership status I am weakening for a personalised NagRags numnah!

Keep up the lovely artwork (and riding)! :)

My YO bought names plates for all the horses on her yard for Christmas presents - they are great :) Think she had them made at a local craft fair.

That looks a lot like him :)

I got Harvey's done by 2 ladies who have a stand at Hickstead (they were also at Olympia) they have a selection then they can repaint the colours of the horse so it looks like yours. I was very pleased with it as they even captured his suspicious expression. Quite a few people at my yard have them.

They will also do it from scratch if you give them a photo.
