How can you tell if a horse has been doped -apart from the obvious?

Often on a gelding his winky will drop out as he is relaxed. Also the horse is usually a bit lethargic. There are probably several other signs as well but only blood tests would prove it.

Normally dialated pupils and a slow heart rate and unresponsive to noise and sudden movement.

Get you vet to take bloods at any vetting if you're at all worried. I *think* that they can be kept for testing later if there is unusual change in behaviour when horse comes home...
