Dora Parfitt, Snaresbrook Riding School

Hello, I was not sure where to put this but just to let anyone know who is interested that Miss Dora Parfitt has died this morning at the age of 99. She ran Snaresbrook Riding School near Snaresbrook Station in London until it's closure in 1993. She and the school itself was very well known and respected in it's time being run by Mr Pugh during the war.

There are a few of the horses from the School still alive today although in their dotage!

There is a facebook group for SRS if anyone is interested in looking.

I will see if H&H are interested in doing an obituary too.
