Just to make you aware that on sunday evening our field gate was ripped out (in Buckland Newton). The police believe they were after the horses which thankfully I had moved to fresh grazing that afternoon.
They then proceeded to steal my electric fencer and a few sundries before opening all the pig pen gates and letting the chickens and geese out.
Obviously the geese kicked up a fuss and they scarpered before they got to the next shed, but they still managed to batter my gander who now has an eye missing (see very graffic pic at bottom of post). This was all within 50 yards of our neighbours house so they were pretty brazen so beware.
There were two other burgalries in the piddle valley area the same evening that may be related, so although you wouldn't think to put a padlock on a chicken shed please do for the safety of your animals
**WARNING GRAFFIC PIC**
