My horses front legs at the top are very saw there all scaby and has know hair on it and were the nats and flys have been round it its bleeding wat do you think i should use for it my farrier suggested vasaline and do you think it might be a sweat rash ????

You've mentioned your horse has sweetitch in previous posts... maybe he has sensitive skin. Has he had a rug on that might rub or any fly bites that have become infected? I use antiseptic skin cream on things like that, things like Savlon. Probably needs a good clean with hibiscrub if its scabby. Have to admit that's just advice from trying to decipher the post in the first place, so hope it helps x

Maybe try Sudocreme..... its good for scabby bits and for keeping the flies off!!!

I would clean and apply sudocream. There are some fly creams you can get which can be applied to open wounds to deter flys, that might be a good idea. As above will a fly rug cover it? Is it on the insides of the horses leg as you mentioned sweat rash? If so then after exercise that area needs to be washed off.
