It does depend on who you speak to, but people make it seem more difficult than it is. I have the Bradoon at the height of a normal snaffle and the curb just below it, when i am putting the bridle on i sit the Bradoon on top of the curb, but that's just how i was taught i have a BHS Examiner/ dressage judge friend who says it doesn't matter because if it is fitting correctly the horse is able to move the bits back and forth anyway. when you put the bridle on just use your horsemans eye - Does it look comfortable do the bits look close enough together without one resting on the other and bagging the cheek pieces out.
