I'm currently looking into getting a new double bridle - I have seen a second hand one that looks perfect! But, how much would you expect to pay for a second hand, but as new, double bridle including bits, reins and beautiful coloured browband?????

worth paying more for a quality one, mine was £120 ish but has lasted me neary 12 years now and still goes to all the county shows, looks just like new. So definately go for english leather.

Make sure it is English leather. If it is complete with bits etc. then you could pay up to £100, even for second-hand. It is much better to pay extra for quality ~ as ZIZZ has confirmed. In fact, I bought my very first double-bridle from Keith Luxford in 1962, can't remember how much, I'm afraid, but I am still using the bridoon head-piece for my chiffney ~ that's over 44 years old!
