The thread below about buckskins and palominos got me thinking about the whole colour thing and I went off on google
looking at all the double dilute stallions and to see what their pedigrees were like and I happened across a filly for sale that was a double dilute tobiano according to the ad (don't get excited it wasn't a WB!), anyway it got me thinking abit more and I wandered if anyone had actually seen or bred a double dilute homozygous tobiano... I am sure there must be someone out there aiming to breed one

I think i've seen a particularly hideous example of one of those on FHOTD, or through a link on FHOTD. Probably a QH or TWH/Saddlebred type thing.

TBs do not have the Tobiano gene, so there can only be a double dilute without that and those exist already.

I do have two buckskin tobiano WB mares and a young colt with no relation to them and in buckskin tobiano coloring and will breed him to them in 2010 once he is three years old, then maybe we will get the first double dilute homozygous tobiano = Perlino homozygous Tobioano.
