I have a new baby in the form of hairy coblet Albion ("Albi") who arrived on Sunday and was gelded yesterday, poor lad, hehe! He will be a year old next Friday which is also MY birthday! Anyway, Albi has a double mane and I wondered if I would ever have any hope of training it onto one side, or would I be wasting my time and should I let nature do what it wants to do?

Gratuitous pics (to show mane...)

You can train it :) My boy is also a hairy coblet and I have finally trained his mane over to all sit on his right hand side. It's a matter of washing and plaiting on the correct side and basically keep repeating this. A hood will help keep it over too but eventually, it will all stay on one side lol.

Harry's strays sometimes but I put him in a lycra hood the night before a show and it stay where it should be all day for the actual show :)
