Dover Hill, near Broadway and Chipping Camden

Lots of lovely rides around that sort of area. I used to ride up to Bourton on the Water. It's lovely through the summer as you can ride through the village & let the horses go down into the small river that runs through the village.

We're blessed with riding here, it's easy to get up onto the Cotswold Hills & lots of the Cotswold villages are gorgeous to ride through.

Broadway is stunning as well though. Would love to move out to Bourton & as property isn't too bad, still expensive but not bad for the location.

ETA; I haven't ridden the Dovers Hill ride I don't think but if it is anything like the rest of the Cotswolds (which it will be) then it is stunningly beautiful & worth a trip in the box with the neds, unload the other end & go for a hack. You will love it.

I know Dovers Hill very well! The bridle way just runs from Dovers Hill across to the main road which runs through Aston sub Edge, it is very scenic but probably not worth boxing to as it is quite short, if i am riding it from Weston i would go along road first, then back over hill.

Just a thought but if you wanted to ride out that way, there is a fun ride which runs every month from the cotswold farm park, it takes about 2/3 hrs absolutely beautiful and loads of jumping! Just google cotswold farm park and it should come up.

I used ride over Dovers Hill, about 35 years ago! Up the Roman Road to Dormy House and the golf club. Nice riding, but I expect the roads are far busier now.

I would not change living here for the world. Quite a horsey area & stunning countryside to boot.

I did a Bridlerides holiday around the area some time ago.Its beautiful, and a good pub, the Black Horse at Naunton was excellent too.
