Dr Cook bitless bridle

Has anyone tried one of these.

I am having problems still with my horse he sticks his tongue out, not over the bit just looks stupid. Have tried a myler and that did not work, tried a pelham now in a three ring gag but he is still doing it.

also need a bit for dressage so I suppose this bitless would be no good for that

A friend tried it on her arab, and hated it. She actually reacted quite badly against it.

But this is one person and one horse, for others it might work really well.

No good if you want to do dressage though!

There are still loads of bits you could try...have you spoken to Heather at Neue Shule? She's v.g. Has a bit for every eventuality.

My boy used to stick his tongue out - went through a variety of bits until I found the Neue Schule Verbindend in a 16mm.

Problem totally solved, in cavesson noseband, no tongue sticking out and no resistance (so no need to close his mouth)

That said his full brother hates the bit, so its horses for courses!
