Draft horse bridle and bit

Please can someone help. I have recently purchased a percheron horse and I have spent all night trying to find a supplier in this country for a bridle (I tried a warmblood size today and it doesn't fit) and a 7 inch bit.
I know there are lots of people out there riding draft horses but where do you get your tack from?

We have ours made by John McDonald in somerset. but unfortunalty the bits are all very old.

As for bits,

Nue Schule do large ones and will do special orders for only a small extra charge.

I bought one of these from ebay and it wasn't big enough for my Vladimir (Russian heavy draft horse - the bay in my siggy) - his head is bigger than my Clydesdale x

I had a bridle made for him by Plas Equestrian.

I got an extra large Sabre (extra full) as my horse has a mahooosive head! and takes a big bit!

I am lucky in that my clyde fits extra full bridles and has a 6" mouth. Only thing I ever had to have made for him specially was his western bit as getting one over 5 1/2" is impossible here.

One thing I can tell you is that the crusader draft size fly mask is huge - far too big for Cairo - he needs the warmblood size - so if you need a huge mask for flies, get the crusader draft size.

Heritage - Mat Marlow - real quality stuff - has made several show bridles for friends and I am having a made to measure for Chancer made up next year (he still chews thing so has a very cheap eco bridle for now. He can make anything you want in the size you want and is very reasonable.
