just wanted some advice but im probably not going to listen to it.

should i use draw reins as my horse wont make a proper outline and i cant be bothered to school every day as its just boring

also im fed up of people saying you can use whips as i think its a brilliant way of enforcing my leg when a horse wont jump

also i think im going to leave my horse with not rug this winter as shes far to fat

Go for it! Sounds like the best idea I have heard in years! Also put in a 3 ring gag with your reins and draw reins on the bottom ring just to be on the safe side! Oh! And clip your horse out fully if leaving rugless - will lose more weight that way!

Dont forget that she will need a bath every day to keep her clean if you dont use a rug. That will also keep the weight off as she shivers afterwards.
Although if you then work her in all the gadgets she should warm up in time to go back to her field.

yer i did get her clipped today. dead happy you all agree with me was thinking someone might say something stupied like i should rug her just cos its 0 degrees.

i no i cant even take her on a hack as i feel guilty that she is only in a £1000 saddle and she doesnt have matching sets of numnahs and boots yer so. we will just have to stay in the field.

ps i am the worst troll ever but i make me laugh and pps she is fully clipped and unrugged obviously
ppps this is my fight back to anoying nosy idiot people

No, I joke :P

that is true

sometimes i think people are trolling but are actually serious and vice verses.

right of to go feed my good doer/ happy hacker some oats as its good for her and tuck her in to bed. and yes she is getting used to my torch xx:):)

oh my effing god! none of you have it right!!! OP whip its shoes off, and smack it in the face with a 12 foot rope with a metal clip (it has to be 12 foot mind you!!!!) and all your problems will be solved. I have a dvd to show you just how to beat the bejesus out of it right with the rope: it cost a bargin price of £100 and you can buy it at ripoffequine.com ;) or if you want to go for a similar but cheaper version google the 'p' word :D

sorry, but in a narky mood and couldn't resist

This is the part where I let you guys know I have just clipped out my mum's horse, who was living out on next to no grass, unrugged and unfortunately not getting much work as my mum has torn cartilage in her knee. So yes, I have clipped him in the hope that he will use some of the energy that he consumes in keeping warm. He does not have a rug on in the day and I assure you he is plenty warm enough. A lightweight at night and he is toasty. Fat is insulation, decreases surface area to volume ratio and therefore reduces heat loss through conduction.
If he was cold, or shivering, then yes what I am doing would be cruel, but the fact of the matter is that he is not cold, or shivering. He is warm, using energy from his food to keep himself warm as he is a mammal.

i think my point last night when i was in a foul mood was that you can and should do what ever you want. i was having a go at people who tell me to take my medium weight rug of my 520kg sport horse as she is over weight. when i tell them shes not over weight and she shakes when i put a light weight on her. they shrud and say o well that what so and so told me. btw shes not even slightly fat.

Fdc I expect those 3 buckets are full of oats to give the horse lots and lots of energy and yes of course it needs that much feed the op would be a bad owner and would be starving her poor horse otherwise, but all 3 buckets must be fed at once.... Who splits feed up anymore? Its soooo old fashioned and it takes too much time, I need the time to become the next top competition rider, lessons with an instructor? Nooo my 'friend' is giving me lessons, she was scouted by the british team dont you know? But she didnt go she was washing her hair.... Righto off to buy 6 new saddles and 4 bits I really really need

I agree with 90% of the above but also turn out with roller and tight side reins on 3 ring gag then it will grow the correct outline muscles without any work :0)

You need loads of oats and barely and the horse will be so off its head that it will just gallop around the field all day and exercise itself for you. Therefor you obviously need to full clip to help with the sweating. Then at the end of the day you have to wash them off with freezing cold water

NO NO NO NO NO!!!! You have it all wrong!!! How can your poor horse possibly do ANYTHING without dead sheep? You're so cruel you disgust me!

Now repeat after me: If I want my horse to jump he must be covered in dead sheep. If I want my horse to ponce around like Moorlands Doritos (see Hovis' Friday Diaries :p ) he must be wearing matchy matchy!
