Anyone know what the ground is looking like over there, as last time, the ground was very deep and horse lost its confidence. Now with the recent amount of rain just wandering what it will be like, luckily have transferred to Sat. Anyone in the know????

Ive done the last 2 there and its never been deep? Ground is generally very very good, it was a bit slippy ontop at the first one this year, but they do work very hard on it

well i was at PC champs there last week and the ground never went deep even though we had loads of rain but my gosh it goes like ice on top when it rains, it was incredibly slippy.

I was also at PC champs last week - thought it was slippy in some places, especially some of the corners, but I also thought there were some very sticky places, although agree it never got very deep. Was good for the weather conditions though...I was told they had had a lot of rain.

I live across the road from there literally, we have had no rain since Saturday evening so I would expect the going to be slightly better than that of the previous weekend.

The weather has been fab since the weekend, no rain

If anything now the ground is getting quite hard, but thats not a problem as draycott are able to water their ground when it gets too hard. Fingers crossed it will be verging on perfect going by the weekend
