Dream livery yard facilities?

Sorry guys slightly bored here + a bit curious to see what everyone's dream yard would have.. if money was not an issue that is :)
 
Owners that are just straightforward nice - seem to have come across a lot of weird ones in my time. At a lovely yard now.
Other dream wishlist would be lots of off road hacking :)
 
A big American barn, with indoor walkways to several indoor schools, maybe one for dressage, one for jumping, one for long-reining/lungeing...that way you would never have to go outside in horrible weather when you want to ride :D

Would also somehow have automatic hay dispensers, as my boy eats like a trooper and YO is constantly topping him up through the night!

Oh and several XC courses ranging from teeny tiny wimp jumps to bigger braver ones.

Oh and a gallop track! Combined with XC courses you wouldnt have to leave the yard to hack...no roadwork yay!

Would also like a way they could choose whether to be in or out, but with my previous design desires I listed I dont think this is possible?! ::p
 
24/7 turnout, miles of off road hacking, a horse walker, hot water shower and lovely people who I rarely see! Within 1 mile of my house preferably too!
 
Pretty much where I am now :)

Lots of off road hacking (can literally ride for hours without needing so much to cross a road), all year turn out in herd (24/7 in Spring\Summer/Autumn) in the well maintain fields, good liveries and yard manager - the only thing I would want to charge is to turn our outdoor school into an indoor and to have a poo picking/mucking out fairy on site!
 
Gallops and a good surfaced school.
Lots of hacking (strictly speaking, I would like rhino's hacking - nothing else will do!)
No other liveries :)

Youve just described my place, minus the horse walker :D also ive got access to an all weather canter track 500 yards along the wee quiet country road where the stables are, and a floodlit rubber school to myself behind my stables, its exactly 3 mins drive from my house .... oh and its a sole let, bliss :)
 
Not fussed about an indoor but would like 2 schools one with jumps permanantly set up.

extra large stables

hot water + solerium (i own a grey!)

lots of turn out not individual but carefully managed groups and well drained

tea and coffee facilities with heating

large heated tackrooms to stop mould

fully concreted no gravel hardcore or mud!

rug washing and drying facilities

very good in house instructors & ability to get others in if required

lol i sound like a right diva I actually am on a diy yard with a little school & muddy winter fields. Nice big stables plenty of turnout and excellant hacking though!

Only a few miles from where I live, this would do at a push, although if I owned that I'd be selling it pronto, buying a bigger yacht and buzzing off to where the sun shines all the time ;)

I have no desire to be a livery whatsoever, miserable cow that I am, if I had to board my horses somewhere else then I wouldn't have any at all.

And I don't want to share all this unless I invite people and their ponys to visit.

For my own place I'd have- 2 stables, 1 indoor & 1 outdoor arena. Few fields. Lots of hacking. Wash bay with hot water. Tack & feed room.

For livery all I'd like is 1 stable and turn out and hacking!

- Round pen/lunge arena
- Miles and miles of off road hacking, fields, tracks, woods, and gallops - with NO off road bikes, or 4x4's or MUD ;-)
- HOT WATER
- SOLARIUM!
- Post and rail turnout with good drainage and small groups with field shelters
- Hay hutches out in the fields plus heated system to stop the water troughs freezing in winter
- Heated tack room
- Toilets and shower facilities
- Tea and coffee facilities with a couple of sofas
- Fully concreted
- Rug washing and drying facilities plus heated rug racks for winter
- On-site instructor
- Loads of place to store my stuff where I can get to it without climbing over others stuff
- Nice fellow liveries
- CCTV that works and a webcam to my horses stable so I can check on her if I want to
- To live on site, so no journey to do
- A dedicated poo picker to keep the fields lovely and clear
- Fieldguard mats to the entrance to the fields so they don't get boggy

I need to win BIG on the lottery I think LOL
 
TBH my yard now is more or less perfect! Would like a horse shower and solarium and a outdoor school. But apart from that it has everything I want, good caring YOs, airy and large stables, home grown haylage of excellent quality and an indoor school.

These threads make me realise how lucky we are on our yard. We have:
All year turnout
Indoor school
Outdoor school with flood lights
Concrete Yard (only have to walk on mud/hardcore if you go to the fields)
Secure, dry tack room indoors.
Heated room with tea and coffee facilities plus microwave, fridge and freezer
Hot water (only to sinks though)
Changing rooms and loos
vending machine
storage for feed/bedding
rubber matting
indoor barn type stables
lovely hacking on quiet lanes
Some private off road hacking (when the cows aren't there)
Auto drinkers (only in some boxes)
Electric lights indoors and outdoors
Hose pipe and outdoor tap
on site instructors or the option to bring your own on
some poles and blocks for jumping

I would like to have:
A wash box with hot water and heat lamps
A xc course
All weather gallops
More off road hacking
More jumps and poles
Working drinkers in all of the boxes
More/better turnout
Electric gates
Staff working until later in the day/living on site
