Hi. I want a treeless saddle for a shape changing young cob. I've used barefoot cheyenne and cherokee but want something with more knee roll. I've used a dream team and liked it. I've also had a heather moffett flexee finesse. Has anyone tried the barefoot barrydale and can give me a review? Or the lexington or notting hill? Or is anyone selling a 16" dream team? Or any treeless suggestions? Budget of £500- £600 max to include a pad . 😊😊 We just hack, odd pop of a log in future in the woods as he matures and I have a dodgy hip so nothing super wide!

Hi ya, can not review the saddles you mention but I use the Heather Moffatt treeless saddle, I currently use a Fhoenix on my cob and have been very pleased. I like the Fhoenix I use , more then the new vogue because it has a point strap, which suits my horse. It rides like a treed saddle, it has knee rolls and is very supportive. I bought on ebay and it is in fab condition and cost £450. Plus any problems you can even chat to HM on line to sort things out, or have a fitter out to help.

I use Barrie Swain Full Flexion saddle. I have both GP & Dressage and have lasted me other 3 horses and 11 years. Look like a normal saddle. He doesn't make them anymore, but if you can pick up one second hand I would go for it. They often pop up on ebay at silly money as not a lot of people know about them. Mine cost £2800 new. They often go for about £500
