Dreaming horses - i never thought it happend!

Little lad was fast asleep around 9 am this morn (heavy night munching grass as we are making the most of this wonderful October weather) as i peep over the stable door - and there he is flat out, breathing irratically and his back legs were in a full gallop - ears twitching, eye's twitching just like one of the russles does when dreaming about cathching rabbits - i stood transfixed watching him for a good min or so - and I have never ever seen a horse dream before - i felt very privlidged and now know why his bed is sometimes such a mess and why he sometimes has some very strange cuts !

Bet my huge cob mare dreams of galloping with the race horses that come past her field for their morning workout!

Awwww that took me back a decade almost remembering a mare on a yard that used to snore and snuffle. Some though she was ill, but the oldies knew she was far off in dreamland........................................................
