Dress for Draghunting?

We are going Draghunting this weekend but I have a query on what to wear as it is so warm at the moment.....

Been hunting all winter in heavy black wool coat but is it OK to wear tweed Draghunting?

No idea about draghunting, but phoned our master before hunting (foxhounds) regarding borrowing a black jacket for last Sat and she informed me its correct to go back to tweed after March 1st xx

The correct answer to all these questions is always to ring the Hunt Secretary of the Hunt that you are going to go out with.

Different hunts have different traditions, so whilst what other hunts do may be relevant, it may also not be - or indeed completely misleading.

Quite right! I did question her as to why half the field had black jackets and she told me to ignore the ill informed lol!
