I seem to remember reading an article a while ago (so it could be a complete figment of my imagination...) which said that the more a horse does collected work, especially on a surface, the foot adapts and the angles become much more upright to produce a taller narrower foot.
On the off chance that this isn't a figment of my imagination, can anyone remember reading similar or remember the article, or even where something like that would be published?
TIA
