Need a new 'best' bridle for the Cat and don't know what to choose. He's a brightish bay with a thin blaze and has a very 'pony' face, seriously cute IMHO!

Anyway have been offered a rather smart 2nd hand Lemetex bridle with raised and padded nose/brow in black with white padding and it fits him a treat. The width of the leather really suits him as does the colour.

Trouble is I have an aversion to black tack and white padding

so do I just buy it anyway because it happens to suit him or would we look silly and old fashioned with all the bling that's around nowdays?

I have a lovley padded Albion bridle - not cheap, but both horses i have competed in it have gone a treat. I think that if you like it & like the way it looks & the fit is good & the price is good go for it. You see plenty of pictures in H&H with two tone tack still. I'm sure the padding helps.

Go with whatever you like.
I have a plain black bridle for Gin which really suits her. I was toying with the idea of getting one with silver piping but in the end I decided it took the eye away from her pretty face, so I bought a diamonte browband instead.

I personally dont like the white but if it compliments him and suits him then buy it.

I've got the traditional Black with white padding and then a double with black and brown padding.... still want that really blingy browband tho but have't found the right one yet!

You mean he infiltrated with cunning that would put a Russian spy to shame! Well he's very handsome, I love stripeys. I have a superb cat cartoon which I want to post on the forum but am too f**witted to do so, could I email it to you?
