I received 2 cards today from my Riding Club saying that I have qualified in the Prelim and Novice sections. I have never heard of it before. Can anyone shed any light? Is it worth doing?

You should have done a qualifier for your riding club to go to the british riding clubs champs at Lincoln and you can only qualify for one section,I believe.Unless one is a riding test and the other a dressage test

This championships is near Newport at Wales. I qualified seperately in Prelim and Novice, which means that I can enter multiple sections.

Have you contacted Broomes yet? Dont want to be news of disappointment, but you will probably find that all the classes are full. You will need to contact them for more info

I had looked at their website and when I saw that I would have to stay for all 4 days, I decided not to go. I mean, camping, DIY and having to feed myself for 4 days!
I then looked at the page on the classes and the only classes with space left are Novice 33/38, neither of which I have ever done. I am not spending that much time and money to get placed nowhere!

Ello you! Get yourself off to Broomies, not only will you have a fantastic time, holiday with your ponio, you will get to meet me, Charliesmum and Sunnymum along with some great people. We have all qualified and due to us being late qualifying are only able to do the long arena tests - so what, its a fabulous venue where you will make many friends.
As far as looking after yourself for 4 days ... Charliesmum is a nurse and is known for her bed baths
Sunnymum will tuck you in at night and read you a story and if you play your cards right, you can dance the night away with me in the clubhouse every night
Carthorse said she might try to visit too and she is just SEX ON LEGS
Soooo, keep the last weekend in September free and have a ball x
