My little girl pupil took her 4 year old to his first ever dressage intro test today and I am so proud of her
He scored 51% why would you be proud of that well when we started on my first lesson with her it took the full hour to get him away from the gate because of his napping
the second hour we got him away from the gate but he bolted back to it every time he was asked to trot so in the next few lessons he has progressed
This week we finally got him to walk and trot all the way round the arena without napping so he had a go at a different venue doing a walk and trot test. I fully expected him to nap but he did the whole test without napping he was a bit suspicious of the white boards and pillar markers but he did it so wey hey.
Poor little soul had been very badly backed very badly ridden and had been sold as a first pony. He spent most of the first lesson trying to buck the brave kid off She adores him though so slowly we will get there
