Dressage Girths

How on earth do you size them? I am failing miserably lol
I have 2 borrowed girths and one is to small and one to big! how do you measure them up?

Hm. No idea. But can't you measure the two you have and then get one that is halfway between them?

trial and error..... i took 2 back to the shop before i got the right one lol!

i've just used trial and error- it depends on the horse and saddle...
I have an 18inch, 22 inches and 24 inch for the same horse - 22 is most ideal ,18 sits a bit low, 24 takes too many holes. other horse takes a 24 and 28 depending on waistline..

Dressage girths are normally 20inchs smaller than your normal GP girth

Put the saddle on and then measure from two holes up on the girth straps at one side, to two holes up on the other side with a tape measure. x
