Dressage Gold for GB pony rider

I read about her in a H&H article, one of the saddest I think I've read. She is a beautiful rider though, what a pony as well!!

It was just the bit about school, how she hadn't really got any friends because no one got her so she just read on the iPad. It just made me feel for her a bit- I know it's her choice and everything, but it just felt sad reading about a 13yo girl who did that.

Paid off, obviously!

Well done! What a great result.
So it looks like team bronze and 2 x individual gold in the dressage (84%, wow!), team silver in the show jumping (not finished individuals yet), team and individual gold in the eventing.

Nice ride :)

What's with the lying back though? I know it's not just her that does it but it does seem a rather modern phenomenon.

I don't think it makes for a particularly pretty picture.

She is the most extreme leaning back I've seen, I agree it spoils the picture, and my god that pony has big feet lol

I think she goes to the same school as my daughters. She works very, very hard (as you'd expect, given the results she's achieving.)
Lovely riding, such still hands and my favourite part of all of it...the huge fuss she made of her pony afterwards.:) Shows real care and feeling, not some 'I expect my machine-pony to perform for me and win' brat. Well held and sat in the spook at the end too (and another reassuring pat for ponio)! Congrats to her:)
