My boyfriend is off to Harper Adams next autumn and I'm planning to go with him... and take the horse! We're both in the process of tracking down potential accomodation, work, and equine accomodation! Given that we're both from Cheshire and don't really know the area, it's not fun We do plan to spend a fair bit of time around there next spring getting used to it and hopefully move in the summer.
Does anyone know of any livery yards, riding schools or possibly competition yards in that area? Pref. fairly close to Newport as with money going to be tight, don't want to be travelling miles every day.
I will be continuing with my art, but it would be nice to do perhaps part time work on a yard? (would be happy to even just muck out for a RS in return for money off livery ) Instructor recommendations for dressage will be welcomed at some point too if I can still afford lessons I would love to work on a dressage yard - mostly as I would like to compete if money allows and I have no transport for Dan - but realise that they would probably want someone to work full time and I am quite committed to my art so wouldn't be able to do full time work most probably
Any thoughts/ideas considered.
Thanks, Rebekah
