Hello everybody,

I am not sure it will be the good part of the forum to post my message.
I am a new member of this forum. I just arrived in England two weeks ago (and for 3 months minimum), and my horses stayed in France.

I research a nice place to have some dressage lessons (individual) in Warwickshire (Usually, I have my teacher in Portugal, to the Dressage Academy), around the area of Lighthorne.
My level is not so high, but I want to continue to learn dressage correctly (and not as some clubs in France, just to earn money).
Do you know one ?

And I will be very happy to meet some people passionated by horses also :)

Hoping to read you soon

Alex

PS. Sorry for my mistakes in english.

The BHS website has a list of instructors by region, most of which specify what they teach...

This one in particular sounds right up your street:

"Having worked in varied equine roles, I have seen many different approaches. I now teach with a holistic approach being an equine therapist as well. One of my main influences is French classical dressage which is a systematic bio mechanical horse/rider friendly approach. I like teaching people of all standards helping them to achieve their goals."

Are you looking for a horse to ride and an instructor to teach you or are you looking for an instructor? There are many places in Warwickshire. How far do you want to travel? Do you have your own transport?

I research an instructor to teach me on his own horses (I haven't got my horses in England yet).
Maybe 20-30 minutes maximum around Gaydon by road.

You could try Maggie at Radway riding school if that's not too far for you.

Eta just seen you're near Gaydon, I'd recommend Radway then although it's been a while since I've been
