Hi,

I have moved into the Godalming area recently from the midlands and I'm looking for a dressage instructor in the area.

My horse is working at Novice/Elementary level. I am looking for someone to give me a bit of a kick up the backside that isn't too expensive, as there are instructors in the area that charge £80 plus for 1/2 an hour which seems a bit excessive.

I am quite happy to travel up to an hour for the right instructor

Any help would be much appreciated

Debbie Moore is fantastic, if you google her, her contact details will come up.

Also I think TTT is near you and they hold lots of things.

Hi. I've tried a few over the years, and seen many more come in to teach clients.

We have Bertil Voss over to us once a fortnight. He's incredible. BHSI but 'not BHS' if you know what I mean, has ridden to GP, has pupils both in the UK and internationally competing at GP, sorts out the basics thoroughly so you suddenly find you're doing HP with no real difficulties, and is fabulous at explaining not only what he wants you to do, but why. Very holistic, complete opposite of the 'winch 'em in' or 'tweaky tweaky' brigade, of whom there are many.

Others I've seen/ had dressage lessons from and would recommend include: Debbie Moore, Tracey Lawson, Hinda Inglis.
