Hello,

Wondering if anyone can help. My mare is very long striding & 'horizontal' if you know what I mean. She finds it hard to shorten up & collect. She tends to go flat & on the forehand thus making her extremely strong/heavy in my hand. She would happily go along with nose on floor & I can't get any sort if contact with French link etc -only pulling nose to floor. Obviously correct schooling is the best course of action. (Not looking for any schooling advice) but which bit could I try? She goes wonderfully in a single jointed Dutch gag (very light & responsive) for jumping & hacking...& Mullen mouth Pelham for showing. Can anyone suggest a dressage legal bit which has the closest action to the gag (if possible!) or anything which might work, as I'm hoping to do done dressage with her over the winter. Many thanks :)
