Dressage legal bit?

I have just read the BD rule book online and it says D ring snaffles are permitted, a mix of metals is permitted, and a snaffle with rotating mouthpiece is permitted - therefore, can I use a D ring copper roller snaffle??

Hiya, I don't think you can use a copper roller as I don't think it's dressage legal. Don't hold me to that though

ok just checked the rules, it seems that only a snaffle with a rotating centre part is legal. It shows diagrams of all the bit types in BD rules

I asked this same question to my trainer recently about a cherry roller - definitely not dressage legal

It means that you can have a little rotating peanut in the middle, but not the whole mouthpiece.
