Attempting a dressage test on the old girl soon but I can't get her to listen in any bit! She's worked in a jointed Dutch gag on the 2nd ring normally. I've tried a hanging jointed snaffle but she leans on it so I tried a loose ring French link snaffle and she just won't listen to my hands. I thought it being loose she might be ok coz the gag she's usually is loose. I could try a loose jointed snaffle I suppose but I'm running out of options! What does a d-ring snaffle act on? Does it work different to an eggbutt snaffle?
