I am currently using a PeeWee bit with great succes but it isnt dressage legal.

Was wondering if anyone can recommend a dressage legal bit that works in a similar way with a similar shaped mouth piece?

There are no dressage legal bits that work in the same way, I would try a mullen mouth snaffle if he is happier without a joint and go from there.
A myler may suit they do a mullen barrel eggbutt or the comfort snaffle, either would be worth trying.

It depends on what part of the action you are wanting?

You cannot have the curb strap/chain that it appears to have but you could look at a mullen mouth snaffle? It would give you the straight bar and if you wanted the stability you could go for a hanging cheek?

I had the same issue (check my past posts!) and even had one specially made which turned out no good after he'd initially went well in it then went horribly after about 3 sessions in it. I happened upon a bargain myler on ebay for £20 so bought it on a whim. Had it a couple of months and he's schooling really well in it! Almost as good asvthe pee wee actually! Its the myler toklat comfort snaffle, loose ring with sleeves. Its sweet iron too. Would recommend giving it a go. I tried countless bits before and was losing hope! Seen a few go cheap on ebay after i got mine ;)

Oh - also, one the first i tried was a normal mullen, he hated it. Also didn't like the verbindend. Would be so much easier if they made pee wee dressage legal!
