As stated, anyone have an idea what I could try? He's great in his Waterford, light and easy, but back in his snaffle we're straight back to leaning and tanking. He's been in a loose ring snaffle and is now in a NS verbindend snaffle, both much the same. Any help much appreciated, dressage on Sunday, NOT looking forward to it.

My boy also loves his waterford, awful in most snaffles but the one he does get along with is a full cheek, copper lozenge snaffle, I just got a £11 one off ebay! works a treat :)

Check the rules of your competition first, but if you are allowed maybe you could warm up in your waterford, then swap just before your test. Hopefully by the time the horse has noticed the bit change, test will be done!!!!!!!!! I've done this with a few horses in the past, and it has helped alot.
