I am entering a freestyle dressage test, which has music as optional. So do you choose the music first - or the movements?

How do you link phrases of music together, is there a piece of software to do this?

I've designed a floor plan, but finding music to fit it is harder than I thought it would be.

Hi Janette, Music or floorplan first is always a question that people have strong preferences on! I find it easier to do a rough floor plan to highlight the horse then perhaps tweak it a little once picked music to make best use of musical highlights etc.

I video my tests then edit the music using soundforge which you can download for free. If you want to see how the pros do it, there is a video series on horse hero of Michael Eilberg working on his new kur - the first one is here http://www.horsehero.com/5201/13908/50114

Hi,

I did the clinic at Old Farm, it was fantastic! Really enjoyed it and got so much out of it. I came away with so many goodies! I now have the perfect track to go out and do my first DTM test! Really worth a go, although i have tried to get on the next one and i am on the waiting list also! Definately do another one though, fantastic!!
