Dressage pads and numnahs

Numpty question here :) I've never had a dressage saddle until recently, so I was a bit miffed to learn that all my saddle squares are too short for it and there is, apparently, a proper type specifically for dressage saddles. So basically I don't know what I'm on about :D

But - just got the Equestrian Clearance mailshot and they have Stubben dressage pads and numnahs reduced.

I don't suppose anyone can tell me if there's a good chance they'll fit my (non Stubben, GFS) dressage saddle? Or are they going to be awkwardly brand-specific? There aren't any measurements given.

yes it will fit.

Any 'Dressage' numnah or cloth will fit any dressage saddle, as long as you get the right size (pony, cob or full) The fact that its a stubben one just means stubben has made it, it will probs have their logo somewhere.

Whilst they may fit they aren't high wither - which technically speaking all saddle cloths/pads/numnahs should be to prevent the material pulling down over the withers during riding. I also hate those suede feel numnahs v hot and a bugg@r to clean!

Thanks for the info :) I was just a bit alarmed to learn that there was more in the world than 'saddle-shaped' and 'rectangle' ;)

Boo - well thanks for the info too, worth considering!
 
HKM are great for dressage cut numnahs and saddlecloths - reasonable priced, loads of colours - and they're good quality which wash well

and half pads, jump saddle cut cloths, high wither cut....and probably loads more! ha ha Its great i love a good numnah shopping spree!!
