Dressage people!

If a horse did an enormous buck (think bronco style) in the middle of a dressage test and the rider said "Oh [****]" but managed to stay on, would you be penalised for use of the voice?

Just wondering if I should tape up my mouth with gaffertape before my next test!

I'm guessing maybe you would lose a point or two from submission - I have to confess its something that worries me too!!

Not for use of voice but you'd get a sh!t mark for that movement...I know I have tested the theory on more than several occasions!!!!

I suppose if she does it in the canter and I drop the reins, that will be the give and retake done!

One less thing to think about!

i think if it is inadvertent use of the voice, the judges will turn a deaf ear.

hopefully you'll just get a "well sat."

lol, well maybe you should use gaffertape just incase or make sure the judges are inside a box of which they cant hear anything

PMSL! I think the last time she hoolied in a test I laughed! My reader said "Ooops, naughty..." with a slight snigger! It was all captured on video! She hasnt done it for ages but 2 days before a competition and...hey! Lets have a wee (bloody big) buck! Good job she has lovely big eyes!

It is her saving grace!

I just cant stay cross with her! LOL!

It is a good job I dont take competitions too seriously nowadays!

That is the plan! But she could throw one in at any time! I am second to go so cant even hope the judge has fallen asleep!
