As some of you may (or maynot) remember i asked a few weeks back about thin reins! Well everyone suggested that I should try plain reins (yuck!) or dressage reins!!!

Well I have to say I have found a new love for dressage reins, they're great

Thanks so much for those who suggested them!

Anyway here for my second question, where would you recommend to buy them from? I have at least two months i think until i have to give these back but should really return them at some point

So does anyone know where to buy some at a decent quality but for a bargain please

I have a pair from townfields - they are a bit stiff
A very nice very cheap pair from treadstone.
I think work ones were jefferies!!

dressage reins are slightly thinner then normal reins with grip down one side! I have small hands and struggle with normal reins and a whip and gloves at the same time! tried dressage and loved them.

clairefeekerry1 - they are what I would call half grip or half rubber reins. usually used for the top rein on a double bridle for ladies. I have a cheapish pair from Dever - cost about £20 at burghley last year
