Well i woke up this morning to seriously heavy rain & thought bugger!! Horse is feeling back to normal from his recent Colic & i was hoping to go. So i did the sensible thing & phoned venue they where still running & hadnt had much rain.
So get there & guess what rain & strong winds i swear it followed me lol. Horse feeling seriously happy to be out & letting me know how good he felt by doing happy leaps into the air lol.
N27, went in & que driving rain & wind couldnt here my caller.
Someone had also left a Bright blue mouting block the other side of the fence, so que snorting dragon horse but it was nice to know he was feeling good after recent events.
Anyway test went ok apart from a few minor ish spooks & one huge spook where he changes legs & i just managed to redeem the next movement. We came out 2nd with 66.8, not the best novice mark we've had but considering the week we've had & the spooking i was very pleased.
Next E42 put the double on as he really does go very nice in it, again que driving rain & really high winds. Horse yet again went spooky but it really was the most horrible conditions ive ever rode a test in. Other than the odd spook & again a major one the rest of the test went nicely. I expected a score of 59% but somehow managed a 63.90% so was very pleased as this was are 2nd ele test. Judge gave some really lovely comments & even mentioned that it was a shame the weather was so bad. So we now have 2 very shiny Ele points, despite spooking & bad weather. yey!!!
